I wanted to share with you a recent update I did in my classroom by adding a classroom stage. The stage brings learning to whole new level. The students get so excited to participate and simply step up on it. My husband took a little time to build it for me. I then painted, taped and added led lights to the stage. We have used the stage for teacher read aloud, step up to answer on the board, show & tell, student lead activities, read to self area, author’s stage (read their writing), and even to take class pictures. It has really become a center piece of our learning. So amazing what a little wood can do to a classroom! Here is the transformation of my stage below.
